Summary of Financial Aid Disclosures

ÃÛÌÒTV is required by federal regulation to provide specific consumer information to students and parents of students. Below is a listing of requirements related to Financial Aid, along with a source of more detailed information.

• All need-based and non-need based federal, state, and local, private and institutional based student financial aid programs:  Information related to application procedures, eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and award amount determination criteria may be reviewed at www.harding.edu/admissions/cost/ and  www.harding.edu/about/offices-departments/finaid/apply-for-finaid/
• Terms and conditions of Title IV, HEA loans: Terms and conditions for all types of federal student loans are available on the of each particular loan.
   
• Information on the disbursement of aid:  Generally speaking, federal, state, and institutional aid is disbursed on the first day of classes each semester. Exceptions may include Pell Grant, which is disbursed according to the start dates of enrollment and can be spread throughout a term if class start dates vary.  Student loans are disbursed when the student starts their sixth hour of enrollment (half-time).
  
  
• Rights and responsibilities in receiving financial aid:  Receiving financial aid, whether through grants, scholarships, loans, or work-study programs, comes with both rights and responsibilities.  By understanding and fulfilling these rights and responsibilities, students can navigate the financial aid process effectively and ensure they meet their obligations as aid recipients. • A statement that study abroad approved for credit may be considered enrollment in the home institution for the purposes of financial aid: ÃÛÌÒTV's study abroad programs consist of courses for which the University awards academic credit. The courses are taken at university-managed sites in foreign countries.  Enrollment in a ÃÛÌÒTV study abroad program is considered concurrent enrollment in the University making the programs eligible for Title IV financial assistance.
  
  
• General conditions and terms applicable to employment provided as part of the financial aid package: 
• The exit counseling information the institution collects:  When students either graduate or cease enrollment on at least a half-time basis, they are directed to complete Student Loan Exit Counseling at this site:

• The standards of satisfactory academic progress:  The ÃÛÌÒTV catalog outlines all details of satisfactory academic progress in the section. See the "Financial Aid Warning and Suspension" information.  Note that different standards apply to undergraduate and graduate/professional programs.  In addition to the catalog information, graduate and professional students must be aware that the policies on academic standing may vary from program to program. It is imperative that each student become familiar with the policy for his or her specific program.

• Perkins Loans Repayment Information:  ÃÛÌÒTV ceased awarding Perkins loans in 2017, the year that Congress stopped the authority for schools to make the loans and ended the program.  Information about the program is available at .
  ÃÛÌÒTV outsources Perkins loan servicing to Heartland ECSI.  All ÃÛÌÒTV Perkins loan borrowers have their accounts serviced at ECSI.  Borrowers should set up their online account at . For assistance, borrowers should call ECSI at 888-549-3274. ECSI's mailing address is P.O. Box 1289, Moon Township, PA 15108.

• Entrance Counseling: ÃÛÌÒTV utilizes the federal Entrance Counseling platform at . As such, all required information and disclosures to the borrower are met within this program.  No federal loan is disbursed on the student account until federal Entrance Counseling is completed.
  
  
• Historical Lender Disclosures: ÃÛÌÒTV Unversity utilizes ELMSelect, a private loan lender and loan comparison tool offered by ELM Resources Corporation. ELMSelect showcases selected lenders in relatively consistent terms, reducing confusion, and assisting borrowers and their families in making the best-informed decisions.
